罢丑别听David W. Teets Memorial Scholarship Fund听is awarded to students who meet the following criteria:
- Current undergraduate enrolled full-time in the College of Arts & Sciences with a declared major in Biochemistry.
- Will be a junior or senior in the upcoming academic year.
- Cumulative CU听GPA听3.0 or higher.
- Graduated from a high school in Colorado.
- Demonstrated financial need as determined by the听FASFA/CASFA.
The 2023 David W. Teets Memorial Scholarship was awarded to听Julia (Ana) Mirita and听Sarah Huynh.

"Receiving the David W. Teets Scholarship scholarship is meaningful to me because it reassures me that I have the support of the Biochemistry department. My education has always been a priority for me. Receiving this scholarship makes my educational efforts feel seen and encourages me to remind myself that hard work pays off. This scholarship has assisted me by lessening the financial burden of attending college. I pay my tuition and accommodation by working multiple jobs during the summer and part-time during the semester. Receiving this scholarship alleviates some of the stress around the first of the month and allows me to spend more time focused on my studies and doing research."
