Stephen earned hisÌýBA in English Literature and Educational Studies from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. After graduating in 2014, heÌýmoved to nearby Columbus, Ohio and spent the next few years in a variety of roles within the field of education. StephenÌýwas a City Year Corps Member, a Teaching Fellow at a charter school, and then helped run an after-school program at another charter school. HeÌýeventually decided that heÌýmissed challenging himself academically, and so he and his wifeÌýmade the big move to Colorado so that heÌýcould earn hisÌýMA in English Literature from CU Boulder. StephenÌýstarted with A&SÌýAAC as an Academic Coaching intern during the second year of hisÌýMA program, and after graduating in 2020, heÌýstayed onÌýin temporary roles before transitioning to the Administrative Coordinator position. He'sÌýexcited to continue being a part of A&SÌýAAC’s mission to support student success!

In hisÌýfree time, StephenÌýenjoys taking road trips, hiking, and camping with hisÌýwife, Miaja, as well as running and reading (mostly fantasy and sci-fi).
