he, him, his
Raphael was born in France and grew up in Colorado Springs. He earned a BA in history from University of Colorado Denver (2021) and an MA in history and literature from Columbia University (2022). His master's thesis investigated worldbuilding and Orientalism in Franco-Belgian graphic novels.
In his free time, Raphael enjoys picking up new hobbies. Lately, he’s been learning judo, playing drums in a punk band, and juggling—though not all at the same time quite yet.
