Erin’s undergraduate degree was in Journalism from Colorado State University and her master’s degree was in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. Erin received her PhD from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership where she then served as a faculty member and program administrator for UNC’s MA/PhD program.

Erin joins us as an experienced leader, advisor, and educator with a proven track record of program design, assessment implementation, and has skillfully navigated complex and highly collaborative campus-wide and program-level initiatives. She brings a diverse set of professional experiences to the role, including serving as the director of the UNC orientation program for eight years. In that role she established and implemented student learning outcomes and robust assessment infrastructures, and advocated for and implemented revised programs, policies, and processes to ensure a more equitable and inclusive student experience. Erin also brings multiple years of experience with academic advising, including experience working with undergraduate liberal arts students, graduate students, and demonstrated excellence as mentor and supervisor.Ìý

Erin loves being a mom to her two kids, a good home improvement project, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
