Lori Thompson is a strategy, marketing, and business development professional with extensive experience in aerospace, defense, communications, and medical industries. She is passionate about helping companies unlock strategic growth through the integration of strategic planning, new product development and market expansion.
Lori is currently Senior Vice President for Strategy, Business Development and Marketing for the Intelligence & Communications division of Ultra Corporation in Austin, TX. She is responsible establishing the strategic planning and execution priorities for the division and leading the business development and marketing functions to grow new business opportunities with defense and security organizations worldwide.
Lori’s experience includes more than 20 years working for international aerospace defense corporations including L3Harris, ITT, Exelis and Kodak, along with a number of start-up businesses in Colorado. She has traveled and worked extensively, growing distribution and marketing channels for numerous product lines worldwide.
Lori holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder and completed an Executive Leadership program at the Wharton School of Business. Lori spends her time between Austin, TX and Lakewood, CO to enjoy both the Colorado mountains and all the great activities of the Texas Hill Country.
