Project Description

Non-Volatile memory systems are becoming a reality offering benefits such as larger memory densities as well as non-volatile properties that allow for systems to be resilient to power outages. Like any prior new technology, with new computing models come new vulnerabilities. In this project the student will evaluate the vulnerabilities that are inherent with persistence systems.

Special Requirements

Basic understanding of computer architecture principles. It would be preferable if the student has already taken the computer organization class or plans to take it in the Fall 2022.
